Dead Wax Cafe Disussion List Rules

This site and list are created for and by vinyl lovers who are also audiophiles. As such,
this list will entertain topics of interest to that community.

We don't want to limit discussions to narrow topics, but we want to keep the focus
firmly on music, analog recording media, related equipment, accessories, and tweaks.
And we're hoping to have some DIY discussions as well.

Sex (well, maybe just in this context)
Politics
Religion

This is not to say that off topic posts are completely discouraged. They can be a fun and pleasant diversion.
However, we must remember the primary focus of this list and not let off topic discussions get out of hand.

This list will no doubt discuss topics that will generate disagreements, along with the potential for tempers to run high. In our dealings with each other on this list,
please remember that everyone has and is entitled to an opinion, no matter how wrong that opinion might be ;-). While disagreement,
arguments and properly conducted debate is expected, there is no room for personal attacks regardless of the reason. Please try to think twice or three times before sending out
a reply that you might regret later.

Flame wars, therefore, will not be tollerated. In the event members get a bit overzealous, warnings may be sent out by the list administrators.
Failure to heed these warnings can and will lead to being kicked off of the list for a period of time to be determined by the list administrators.
The list adminstrators will try to stay out of the way as much as possible, but we will not sit by and watch this list deteriorate into something like rec.audio.opinion.

This list is not moderated. How good, bad, interesting or boring it is will be entirely up to you. If you think things are getting boring, post something intersting!

Above all, remember that we're all in this for fun and enjoyment (at least I hope we are). So have fun with this list. We hope to!
